It's been a while. <3 Here we are.

(also hello & welcome to the many new faces once again~ I encourage you, if you haven’t already done so, to go through my very dank archive, there is lots to imbibe.)

1️⃣ As you may remember, I said I was debuting a new chapter of

at the Philly Zine Fest.

I now deliver the goods to you: 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 ᴀʟʟ ᴛʜᴀᴛ'ꜱ ʟᴇꜰᴛ ch2: the lighter.

I feel it is a faithful return to the sleaze of the 2012 era short stories, and am already at work on ch3. Whereas in ch1 we met Kay, in ch2, we shift our gaze onto a new face: Rahl.

[My website feels a bit out of date at the moment, and this era of rejecting platforms, I think it's important to keep an up to date regular degular website. I will post the stories in full for free there in the near future. I have been meaning to finesse how audio is presented and do the seasonal tidying of the about page n linktree.]

2️⃣ Now as for workshops

i want to run a workshop about designing for an intended audience / breaking down potential consequences of design choices

and a partner workshop on the basics of reading propaganda n media literacy.

both are participatory.

this December 20th as an opener for the tape release show of my good friend CLOCK ISSUE aka Pauline Darkstar, who frequently did musical and SFX backing in earlier iterations of my storytelling broadcasts. My god it’s been a king’s age, so DO COME OUT if you’re in the area, and luxuriate to the sounds of my voice casting visions of a future present before submerging into synthspace.

How have you been taking care of yourself?
How have you been preparing yourself?
What are your fears?
And your blessings?

After the election I felt clarity. I got motivated.

I've also been on crutches since this time last month. So, I'm moving differently. In the meantime, I currently am not interested in despairing, for there is no time. My martial/ascetic tendencies seem to deepen, and my need to gather and communicate has come back to life.

I ponder the utility of another workshop/group exercise where I host dystopian scifi viewings and we talk about the real true realities we face. Not as a place for strategy formation, but as a place for...inner spiritual life style confrontation, a first first step. Do you get me?

We have to move with purpose and dignity.

To me sometimes it's looking like we're on a Terminator timeline, a Back to the Future Biff timeline.
